Safety goggles to protect against wind and dust, e.g. when cycling, and to protect the eyes from UV light, especially when working with black light (e.g. on stage). Among other things, UV light damages the lens and promotes cataracts.
Black light’ is particularly dangerous because in the dark (as far as visible light is concerned) the eye opens the pupil wide and the UV light can penetrate unhindered.
These goggles replace the ‘eye shield soft clear UV400’ model with the same optical properties.
